Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is a Filipino American actor, television host and comic. Panganiban was dubbed as the Queen of Drama across various media. As the youngest competitor ever to compete on the show her score was second. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in the year 2012. She was just 4 years old at that time. Her disease was a severe strain of the strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO an intervention that saved her life. Her condition became severe and she experienced several organ failures, including her kidneys which did not recover. Her condition forced her to alter her life around hemodialysis, as well as peritoneal dialysate. After spending over 80 days in hospital, she went from being in danger of death to an extended recovering journey. After nearly a year and half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the largest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Angelica's mom was the only one who could donate a kidney. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom went through the successful transplantation of their kidney at two remarkable hospitals close to each other-Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's ambition to be a superstar has never wavered.
