Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who has gained fame for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her career began as an actress during the 80s. The actress became popular for Tezaab, a film starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her subsequent appearance on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. In Mumbai the city she was born within a middle class family parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to study dance. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled for several years because many of her early films were flops. The actress gained fame and was one of the top film actors. Following her marriage, she took some time to rest from her acting career prior to returning. Recenty, she had a major part on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit was nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. The actress was also honoured with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She also has a reputation for her social activism.
